Welcome to Falcon Books. These Terms of Service govern your use of thefalconbooks.com and purchases made through the website. Please read them before placing an order. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Website

You may use our website to browse and purchase books for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation or security, submit false order information, or use its content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order.

Product Information

We aim to provide accurate book descriptions, editions, formats, prices, and availability. If we discover an error affecting an order, we will contact you where appropriate to explain the available options. We may correct website information and, where necessary, cancel an affected order and refund any amount paid for the cancelled item.

Please check the product details before ordering, particularly the edition and format of a book.

Prices, Orders and Payments

Payments are charged in UAE dirhams (AED). If you select another country, prices may also be displayed in your local currency for reference only. The AED amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay, and your bank may apply its own exchange rate and fees. Delivery charges, if any, and applicable taxes are shown at checkout before you pay. An order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order. Orders remain subject to payment authorisation and product availability. If we cannot fulfil an order after payment has been taken, we will notify you and refund the amount paid for the unavailable item.

Payments are handled by the payment providers available at checkout. We do not store full payment card numbers.

We may decline or cancel an order where there is a genuine pricing error, an unavailable product, a failed payment, suspected fraud, or another lawful reason. If payment has already been collected for an order we cancel, we will issue a refund.

Delivery

We deliver from Dubai to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. Delivery is free on all orders, with no minimum order value. Delivery times and customs details are explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by events outside our control, such as courier delays, customs checks, public holidays or bad weather.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled under our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy. Under that policy, eligible return or exchange requests may be made within 30 calendar days of delivery. Your rights under applicable consumer protection law continue to apply.

Intellectual Property

The website’s original text, design, images, and branding are owned by Falcon Books or used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission. Book titles, cover artwork, publisher names, and third-party trademarks belong to their respective rights holders.

Website Availability and Liability

We work to keep the website available and accurate, but it may occasionally be interrupted or contain an error. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Falcon Books is not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of the website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the UAE, and disputes will be subject to the courts of Dubai, without affecting your mandatory consumer rights under local law.
